Private cinema experience, unique cigar shack, luxurious bathroom facilities
Incredible disappointment with the outdated carpets and furnishings!!! The bistro service lacked efficiency, and the noise levels from events were intolerable!!! An overhaul is badly needed for the public areas and food service.

we stayed for 1 night n the deluxe room was super spacious, loved the big comfy bed and the separate bath was a nice touch. really quiet too, which was great since we faced the road. staff were friendly and helpful at check-in n breakfast was yummm, with lots of options.
but there was no onsite parking which was a bit annoying, and the common areas could use a refresh, looked a little shabby.

The Fitzwilliam Museum is just a few steps away, and I also loved having the University of Cambridge just a short walk away, making my city strolls truly magical and convenient. As someone who enjoys the freedom of walking through city streets during weekends, I found the breakfast in my room to be a lovely touch that allowed me to savor my morning while getting ready for the day ahead.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay here! The location is ideal, close to the Queen Ann Terrace and just a short walk from the city center. We took a private Champagne tour, which was a blast. Rooms were spacious and cozy. Definitely recommend checking out the bar for a laid-back vibe.
We had a small hiccup when we learned our room was not ready upon check-in, but the staff offered us complimentary coffees while we waited, which was a nice touch.

We upgraded to a stunning classic room, which was super comfy and had a lovely view of the garden. The hotel had a great spa and a cozy lounge area to unwind after a long day. Just a heads up, the hallway could be a bit dark, but it didn't really take away from the overall charm! 😊

The charming blend of historical architecture and contemporary elegance throughout the hotel was a highlight. I loved the cosy bar and inviting common areas, making my stay quite enjoyable. The staff were particularly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed. breakfast left something to be desired, as the coffee situation felt inadequate for the number of guests and the poached eggs were inconsistent.

More lifts or ramps for easier access would help.

The Classic Room was beautifully decorated and cozy, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The bed was super comfortable—definitely a highlight. A few quirks with the space, like some electrical sockets being in awkward spots. The bathroom was nice but could be warmer in winter. it had a charming vibe that added to the experience.

Recommend it for couples seeking comfort
The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious, really enjoyed all the wonderful lotions provided. The staff were very friendly and attentive, especially Tiff and her colleague at Reception. they made me feel special and welcomed, it’s rare to find such service these days.
Sure, it wasn’t exactly cheap, but given the overall experience, it was still worth it.
